Quebec City

Gorgeous birthday celebration in Quebec. We spent yesterday in Montreal, had an amazing breakfast this am at Cafe Souvenir in the Outremont neighborhood (so good)
then headed to Quebec for a peek. It's so beautiful, green, total postcard picture there on the boardwalk. Everybody seems so happy to have some good weather, all thawed out from the cold, cold winters that they just plop down on whatever patch of grass they can find and loll about. I love it, makes me appreciate all of our sun back home even more.
We started off at the world famous Le Chateau Frontenac. It's really unbelievable, so majestic, watching over the city like it does.
Here we are inside. Out front was a row of Ferraris and Lamborghinis in town for the race.

A sparkling birthday dinner at Le Cochon Dingue (The Crazy Pig) for a fun night.

We took a tour of the town including the wall of fortifications, all around the neighborhoods and the parks - beautiful. Back to the hotel for some sleep and back to Montreal tomorrow...
