March through May is prime tulip and other flower watching in Holland. We took the bus past Maddie's Mom's town of Harlaam into the flower gardens keukenhof.nl. It was breathtaking to see the acres and acres of flowers, all kinds, all colors, unbelievable aromas. Perfect afternoon!

i am embarrassed to admit that i have been to amsterdam three times and never once visited a tulip garden.
